Laser-etched stacks of dollar bills

We are pleased to present "Always Almost There" a solo exhibition (1st October 2009 - 30th October 2009; 8 Greek Street, Soho, London W1D 4DG) of all new works by Scott Campbell. Born and raised in rural Louisiana Scott's work is deeply rooted in the history of tattooing, it is his first major exhibition in Europe and his debut show in London.

Scott's work as a tattooist brings and unmistakable quality to his art. His collection of 100 dollar bill sculptures and collages are beautiful and intricate. A true reflection of his passionate interest in tattoo iconography.

"Always Almost There" once again highlights the laser etched technique that Campbell is famous for using stacks of dollar bills. His three dimensional works are wonderfully textured and complex, maybe because they are cut layer by later and then glued together.

This is his first major exhibition in Europe and his debut show in London.
The show is open Monday-Friday 11-7pm and Saturday 12-5pm.
