The wedding (scheduled to take place at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011) between Prince William of Wales and Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton boosts production of the new collectibles around the whole world, from coins and post marks to badges and magnets for fridge.
This postage stamp (with a portrait of the bride and groom) is released at the opposite side of the world, dwarfing the island nation of Niue in the Pacific Ocean, whose population barely exceeds 1500 inhabitants

Prime Minister Andrus Ansip marked the event by withdrawing euros from a cashpoint: "It is a small step for the eurozone and a big step for Estonia," he said, holding the euro notes. In spite of I don't think that this device will good for storing the entire coins collection, it can be truly captivating and even bring more coins from friends at house party... Rest des Eintrages lesen...

Some people are literally throwing money on the floor…
Like the people that came up with the idea of paving the floor of the Standard Grill, in the Standard Hotel, New York, with thousands of pennies. It looks pretty cool, no doubt about it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if, one day, people got on their knees and tried to steal the coins. After all, this is an economic crisis and every penny counts.

On one famous online auction oz.by, I have found very useful lot for beginners in numismatics: a set of 200 coins from different countries of the World. Such lots typically looks like:
It is very convenient and fast way to increase your collection, in order to check the future way you wish your collection to be expanded: selection of the thematic, or selection specific country or region, selection of the specific historic event and so on...
Generally the price is not higher than $10.
