Hello guys, thank you for the attachments (.doc and.pdf) feature. You did a great job. (and you have my money!) But, I still have a big issue with the software. I am running 3 SATA hard-disks. On C:/ I put all my software and on D:/, I put all my documents, mp3, movies, and datafiles. In other words, I have all my user-files on the D:/ drive.

- When I backup, I use a fantastic drive synchronization tool called BeyondCompare (http://www.scootersoftware.com/) .... BC copies ANY changes to my datafiles to an external USB Toshiba hard-disk. So my machine is always perfectly backed up.... Very safe indeed.

However, sad fact is that Collection Studio doesn't seem to allow storing of datafiles/datasets on different drives. Can you please clarify this issue? Thank you, Glen.

Thank you for explaining of the whole process how do you use Col Studio with your data file. It seems everything should be fine, because our software has no any limitation neither in registered version nor in trial: any drives should be accessed within CS. We will make additional tests...

So, you are saying that any .COL datafiles should be able to be stored on another SATA drive? And maybe in a folder(dir) called 'movie-data', or 'contact-data' ... I have tried this (Vista 64bit) and Collection Studio crashes...

Thank you for trying to understand this issue...
