I am using XP. My collection info is stored on flash-drive not on HD, has been doing it that way for years and with CS 3.61. Upgraded to CS 3.62 adjust Options & settings to match my stored data. The file came up as it was stored for the first time I didn't have to adjust and use (Save As) when opening a file in a new version,however when I tried to add new items or change info of an item already there the program goes berserk. (eg) using the Plus icon to add a new item works but thats as far as it goes. There are no headings for the other columns, clicking on the rows of blank spaces you may finds what you are looking. But if you worked years to build CS database this is a good way to ruin it. Any ideas anyone.

It will be very good if you have attached some screen shots for columns and lists.

The first idea, it seems that you have not uninstalled correctly previous version and just installed the newer one. The same properties in the systems may not correspond between several versions.

The second idea, it seems you have selected English.lng file as interface language, but the program cannot find it, and it draws not strings (they all comes from lng files or from the application only when "English (built in)" is selected). So, check this option too. Check if your language file is near 25 kbytes.

Does the same problem occur when you attempt to add new items in the completely new collection?

I did an uninstall & manually clean my registry of CS 3.61 & 3.62 however the problem still occurs. Old or new file the problem still occur. Where can I file the language file.

I will try to explain what is happening. Open a folder with 20 rows 8 Columns, want to edit item 5 scroll down to item 5 double click on it: the add new note window open (eg) face value, country, currency, etc.

Opening the file is no problem, however if I try to add or edit a file this is what I get; if I click along the top the window may change but I am unable to tell which file I an editing. Using the arrow I can go up or down on the main window this I can tell because the index # will increase or decrease but the data in the front page is not changing.

Thank you very much for the screen shot. It tells us a lot. We can reproduce near the same problem on some Windows XP configuration. We hope we will fix this problem very soon, and therefore we will release a new version in the same day. Approximately, it will ready until the end of this month.

So, today, we have released a new version of the Collection Studio - CollectionStudio 3.63. It contains fixes about problem you have described here. Hope it was not so big delay in tracking of your collectibles using CollectionStudio!
