We plan to add custom collectible feature in spring 2008,

so it will be possible to add any type of the collection into CS.

Suggestions:

1). Some of my notes have portrait and lanndscape such as Croatia and Georgia. Please add Portrait/Landscape as one of the choices for Orientation.

2). The ability to make multiple changes. Example I change the storage from book 1 to book 2 and wish to change 17 notes. The idea would be to select multiple notes and have the application open to an "empty" type of record and what ever fields and only those fields that I type changes too are updated in the selected records.

3). Backup option that automatically creates a backup of the database in case of errors.

4). Some of the fields; Regional Issue, Mint, Signatory, need to be longer, allowing about 10 or more characters.

5). Please add the flags and currency images that are missing. I sent you all of these November 09, 2007.

One other item, I have entered about 650 notes and added 1 image of about 240K to each. My database file size is about 105MB, and the tab Custom field take about 30 seconds to open. My computer has 4GB RAM, Two Intel Core 2 Quad CPU's at 2.66GHz, Terrabites of Disk space in RAID 1 config, and running Win XP Pro with SP2. SO I don't believe the performance is related to my computer.

Unfortunately - not.

But in this Spring we want to add "custom collectible" functionality in order to provide for our users possibility to add any collectibles.

As you know, collectors are specific kind of peoples... and we try to help them to have organized their own collections, because all developers of the Collection Studio are also collectors and we know collectros problems very well... Hope see you later on our forum and/or in e-mail in this Spring.

As soon as you have implemented the "custom collectible" area, I will test it and then buy your application.

There are thousand of collections, from beermats or sugar envelopes to retrocomputers or retro-games (my case), so I'm very interested in such an option.

... In setting up Collection Studio, should I have one database for flags, one for books, one for posters, etc (setting up a few custom) and switch between them as I enter data? Or is there a better way such as a pull down menu to do it for me automatically?

... Is there a walk-through on setting up a collection? The help menu explains all the tabs and buttons and how they work, but not a walk- through on the steps to follow to get up and running.

У меня есть несколько вопросов: 1) Почему в окне браузера (слева) не отображается информация о примечаниях. Вернее она отображается, но там какие-то иероглифы. Поидее, там же должно отображаться тоже самое на русском языке.

Данная проблема нам известна и будет исправлена в новой версии, 3.56.

2) Когда создаешь новую коллекцию, и начинаешь заполнять ее, почему-то будь то DVD или что-то еще, всегда пишется монета.

This problem is known for us and will be fixed in newer version, 3.56.

2) There is a wrong name of my collectibles during creation of the new collection. It always writes "coins".

Yes, you can you CollectionStudio for tracking your coca cola items. In this case you should use our "custom collectible" feature. It is very simple: at first you should specify set of characteristics for your items (for example, production year, country and so on), then import or manually add your collectibles into your database. Do not forget to make backups of your collection studio document when you are not sure that you modify data in the way you exactly wish. We hope, you will be satisfied a lot with our software and available tools in it. It will be also important for us if you will write a small feedback how it was easy or may be not to cover all your wishes in tracking your collectible items using Collection Studio.
